Calm those race nerves and feel prepared and inspired for your race and the weekend ahead. After collecting your Race Pack, visit our 2XU Recovery Zone and meet the training experts for a pep talk, get a preparatory sports massage, chat to the pace team, check out the course and pick up helpful information and advice.


Bring your friends & family along to explore all that is on offer in the Event Village. There is something for everyone of all ages, including shopping, food stalls, bars, live screens, fun activities and more…


Get a 20 minute pre and/or post-race sports massage in the expert hands of the official Physio for Brighton Marathon Weekend, Body Rehab Studios on the Friday or Saturday.

2XU Recovery Zone

Our partner 2XU will be hosting a special Recovery Zone in the Event Village, which will be open all weekend. After collecting their Race Pack on Friday or Saturday, runners can visit our training experts for advice and a range of talks from the experts hosted by our Official Coach Nick Anderson.

Get a preparatory sports massage from Body Rehab Studios, chat to the RunBrighton.com Pace Team powered by 2XU, check out the course and pick up helpful information and advice. On Race Day, post-race massages will be available also and our team will still be here to offer their support. Marathon runners will also be able to pick up a free pacing band here.

Official Merch and Retail

A variety of official Brighton Marathon Weekend merchandise will be available to purchase in the Event Village from Friday-Sunday.
Running vests and tops branded with the Brighton Marathon logo will be available, along with a host of other products.
The range will be available to view online closer to the event. Keep an eye on your runner emails for updates.
There will also be some fantastic kit and sports products to buy courtesy of Alton Sports!

T Shirt Printing

There's nothing better than hearing the crowds call out your name and cheer you on to your finish on Race Day.

Bring your vest or T-Shirt along with you to the Exhibition in the Event Village to have it personalised there and then.

Food and Bars

There will be a range of excellent food stands and trucks catering for you and your supporters throughout event weekend, as well as bars where you can enjoy a celebratory drink right on the beach! Chill out on the picnic benches or pull up a deckhair and watch the live footage on the big screen!

Sign up for 2018

You will be able to sign up for the 2018 Brighton Marathon at an exclusive price of £45.50 only on the Friday and Saturday in the Event Village. 


Entries will then go on general sale on Sunday, via the app and in the Event Village from 2pm. Entries will be first come, first served and limited to 11,000 places. Priced at £55.50 for first 5,500 and £65.50 thereafter.

Alton Sports Retail Area

Our official sports retail partner Alton Sports will be at the Event Village across the weekend offering a wide range available for purchase. Alton are known for their range of cutting edge and innovative products - stop in and treat yourself!


Pace Team

Meet the RunBrighton.com Pace Team powered by 2XU in the Event Village. Pick up your 2XU pace band too! They'll be here to chat to you about the big day, the course and any pacing questions you may have.

Reebok Ragnar Relay

The world's best running relay is coming to the UK this September with Reebok Ragnar White Cliffs. Hailing from across the pond, Ragnar is the biggest running series in the States and now's your chance to experience it. Meet them in the Event Village and find out more about this epic road relay!


Information Point

Within the Event Village on Friday & Saturday, you will be able to make use of our Information Point, located centrally along the trackway.

Our team are here to help with any queries you may have, from Race Pack Collection on the Friday & Saturday to lost kit bags. We are also here to help in the rare instance of lost children or runners.

Water Points

In addition to the water that will be given out after crossing the line, there will be three banks of drinking water taps within the Event Village that are new for 2017.

The first is located at the end of the finish straight for runners to refill their bottles from. Marathon runners will receive a free water bottle supplied by Gatwick Airport, and 10k runners can use the water bottles they receive upon finishing.

Big Screens

There will be three big screens with seating in the Finish Area and Event Village showing live footage and films.

There will be plenty of toilets available in the Event Village for use over Event Weekend. Locations are on the maps.


Medical Points

If anyone becomes unwell after finishing their race, there are two medical tents located in the main Event Village. One centrally and one at the far east end of the village.
